Wood
drying requires much time, and the nature of the wood,
including contraction, can change depending on the advancement
of the drying technique. Moisture control from factors
such as a comparatively high-temperature bottom can cause
problems to come about for some moisture testers. However,
the MD-710 is equipped with an Anchor-Type moisture sensor
which cancels out any effect caused by contraction and
can monitor any sensor drop-out, floating, or snapping.
